Launch announcements, platform updates, security notices, and other things relevant to you as an Oden C.A.M customer.
2026-05-09 — Public launch of oden.cam
Today we're opening Oden C.A.M for public sales. The service has been running internally and with select pilot customers over the past year, and we feel it's ready for more.
What you get from day one: security and maintenance updates, 24/7 monitoring, malware scanning and remediation, encrypted backups, performance optimisation, and a control panel showing everything we do — all on top of your existing hosting. Pricing from 499 SEK/month. If you also want to move hosting to us, we offer WEBBELi hosting (Scandinavian servers in Sweden) as an add-on.
Thanks to all the pilot customers who helped us build this — Ök Varuhall, Silverstrands El, Kalmar Fäktklubb, and several others. You know who you are.
2026-04-22 — Klarna and Peppol e-invoice now available
Three new payment methods are live: Klarna for consumers, Peppol e-invoice for organisations that want to send via the standard protocol, and traditional paper invoices for larger procurements and the public sector.
You don't need to do anything — pick a payment method at checkout, or contact upphandling@oden.cam if you have specific requirements.
2026-03-15 — Migration to europe-north1 (Finland) complete
The Oden control panel was moved from Frankfurt to Google Cloud Run's Finland region (europe-north1) over the weekend of 2026-03-14/15. The migration was carried out with zero downtime for any customer.
Implications for you: lower latency (we measured an average of 18 ms faster for Swedish customers), fully EU-based infrastructure, and a shorter list of sub-processors in our DPA.
2026-02-08 — Malware scanning included on all plans
Malware scanning used to be an add-on for the enterprise plan. It's now included on all plans, including the base package. We scan around the clock, alert if anything is found, and remediate at no extra cost.
More details in the documentation.
2026-01-12 — WordPress 6.7 supported on day one
When WordPress 6.7 was released, we'd already tested it in staging against every major plugin combination in our customer base. The update rolled out in four waves over 48 hours with automatic rollback ready — zero incidents, zero downtime.
