Accessibility Statement
How well oden.cam meets WCAG 2.1 level AA, what may not yet be fully accessible, and how to report issues to us.
1. Background and commitment
NNi Solutions strives to make the oden.cam website usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability. As a reference we use Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA.
The Swedish Act on the Accessibility of Digital Public Service (DOS Act, 2018:1937) primarily applies to public-sector bodies, but we have chosen to publish an accessibility statement following the same structure on a voluntary basis.
2. Compliance status
The oden.cam website is partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. The known exceptions are described in section 3.
3. Inaccessible content
The following parts of the website are not yet fully accessible, and we are continuously working on improvements:
3.1 Non-compliance with WCAG 2.1 AA
- Animated decorations. Some illustrations (such as orbiting symbols in the Trust section) lack a simple way to pause. Users who have
prefers-reduced-motionenabled receive a calmer variant. - Scroll-driven horizontal transition. The Trust section uses a scroll-locked horizontal transition on desktop. On smaller screens and with keyboard navigation it falls back to a normal vertical layout.
- Stock photos in the "Call us" block. The avatar images are decorative placeholders that will be replaced with actual team photos. They have
alt=""and don't affect screen-reader use, but worth noting.
3.2 Content not covered by the legislation
- Third-party services we link to (e.g. Stripe payment page, external news articles) — their accessibility is governed by the respective service owner.
4. How we tested the website
The assessment is based on a combination of:
- Manual review using keyboard and screen reader (VoiceOver on macOS/iOS, NVDA on Windows).
- Automated tools: axe DevTools, Lighthouse, WAVE.
- Colour-contrast verification per WCAG 1.4.3 (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text).
- Testing with
prefers-reduced-motionenabled.
Latest review: 2026-05-09. The review was conducted internally by NNi Solutions.
5. Provide feedback or report issues
Found something that doesn't work for you? We want to know. Send a message to tillganglighet@oden.cam with a short description of the issue. Please include:
- Which page (URL).
- What's not working.
- The assistive technology you're using (e.g. "VoiceOver in Safari on iOS").
We normally reply within 5 working days and address confirmed issues as soon as possible.
6. Supervisory authority
The Agency for Digital Government (DIGG) supervises the DOS Act. If you feel we have not handled your report satisfactorily, you can contact DIGG:
DIGG, Box 14, 851 02 Sundsvall, Sweden
Website: digg.se
7. Continuous work
Accessibility is not a one-off project. We continuously review new components, train the team, and improve existing content. This statement is updated at least once a year.
